As a part of ReelAbilities Columbus, the Dancing Wheels Company and School will perform an excerpt of a piece titled “Walking On Clouds” at the McConnell Arts Center of Worthington*. The piece is described below.

If dance is an expression of the human spirit, then it is best expressed by people of all abilities. That is the fundamental belief behind The Dancing Wheels Company, a professional, physically integrated dance company uniting the talents of dancers both with and without disabilities and representing a spectrum of age, ethnicity and gender. Walking on Clouds was choreographed by David Rousseve in 2005 to bring to the stage a work that would reflect the similarities and challenges encountered throughout history by people with disabilities and people of color.

Join on following the screening of Body & Soul on October 5, 2013 for this exciting performance! The performance is included in the film screening ticket price of $5. Tickets are available at the door. For more information on Dancing Wheels, visit http://www.dancingwheels.org/.

*The McConnel Arts Center is located at 777 Evening Street, Worthington, OH 43085
